Ryder Tufto resides in Caldwell, Idaho, with her mother, a retired U.S. Army veteran. She is homeschooled, which allows her the flexibility to work as a buckaroo. In 2023, Ryder was honored with a Top Hand Award. She is deeply involved in gentling and training ranch horses and believes there is no better place to experience the world than from the back of a horse.
Ryder actively competes in barrel racing, team sorting, and breakaway roping. Among her horses, her favorites include Wasabi, Huckleberry, and Junebug. She is a member of the Cactus Riders 4-H Club, where she competes in the ranch horse program, and also shows poultry with the Malheur Mavericks. In addition, Ryder enjoys participating in historical wagon trains, with the Weiser River Trail Wagon Train being her favorite.
Ryder has previously held the titles of Western Riding Club Princess, Gem/Boise Fair and Rodeo Princess, Black Canyon Stock Show and Rodeo Junior Queen, and Atomic Days Junior Queen. She is both proud and honored to serve as Miss Junior Rodeo Idaho 2026.
